View Description
Sporting a vibrant orange metallic exterior which nicely contrasts with its sleek, black synthetic leather interior. New for 1977, the metallic orange color was also less frequently chosen than the other colors in the palette for that year, which means you're unlikely to see someone else driving one that's like yours. And not that folks are thinking about 1977 Camaros being one to create 'clones' of certain models yet, rest assured the cowl tag on this one does have the Z28 designation, so it's the real deal. Not only is it the real deal, but this 1977 Z28 is better than it ever was, thanks to several efforts undertaken during its restoration. This bad boy is coated in a gorgeous Hugger Orange, which is augmented by black pearl SS stripes. Under the hood is a powerful 427 CID stroker V8, which features a Dart block, AFR aluminum heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, Quick Fuel 4BBL carb, and MSD ignition. The reciprocating assembly consists of an Eagle crank/rods/pistons kit, so you know you're getting the good stuff. Coated headers handle getting the spent fossils into the 3-inch dual exhaust, which dumps just past the rear axle. Backing the 427 is a 4-speed manual transmission, which is equipped with a McLeod Dual Clutch to ensure complete transfer of all that power to the rear end, which sports a Positraction differential, 3. 73:1 axle ratio gearing, and LPW Ultimate 10 support cover. A new BeCool radiator was added, and enhanced with BeCool 11-inch chrome plated high torque dual puller fans to keep the mill running in the green zone. QA1 Coilovers were installed up front, along with KYB Gas-a-Just shocks out back, and Summit Racing sway bars were added front and rear. Inside, the black interior is in good shape, and retains much of its originality with high back synthetic leather bucket seats, seat belts, and...
