First gen Malibu's are currently skyrocketing in value. The crisp tidy styling, light weight, and relatively restrained size made the 1964-1965 Malibu and Chevelles an American performance classic. This 65 Malibu SS is a great example of the breed. It was repainted in its original factory colors, with a Mist Blue body and Ermine White roof. The interior is blue with buckets up front and no center console. The seats and door cards appear near new. The carpet is in great shape as well. Under the hood is a non-number matching 350 V8 with a spicy cam. The engine is fed via a Brawler 4-barrel carburetor, flowing fuel, and air through a Edlebrock intake manifold and AFR heads, then exiting through long tube exhaust headers. This thing sounds MEAN. Power is sent to an aftermarket 10 bolt rear end. Keeping this car shiny side up could be a challenge with a hot V8.
