Built as a tribute to a Shelby GT350 convertible, this bad boy is more than just eye candy. According to the build specs, its 302 CID V8 features a 1968 C80E iron block (C80E-6015A), which has been treated to a circa 1987-92 Fox Body Mustang's 5. 0L configuration. It features a 5. 0 HO aluminum intake, complete with plenum spacer and Cobra upper intake, 70MM MAF calibrated for its 24LB/HR injectors, BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Hedman shorty headers, MSD coil, A9P ECM, K&N filter on its CAI, and a Vortech V-3 supercharger. An external in-line 43GPH fuel pump supplies the fuel. The supercharged 302 is kept cool by a big aluminum radiator, which is equipped with an electric fan (in addition to the belt driven fan). Backing the 302 is a crisp shifting T5 5-speed manual transmission. Based on the information we have, it appears the build was completed in 2020, because it's sporting a new clutch (installed in 2020) and the front end was aligned in 2020 as well. There are a little over 1000 miles on this car since it received its restomod treatment, according to the documentation we were supplied. It also has a custom dual exhaust...

This pony is rocking a bright red paint job, and a jet-black interior, so it's a real eye catcher. The potent 302 CID V8 in the engine bay has been upgraded with an Edelbrock 4BBL carb atop its aluminum intake, and a GM-Style HEI provides improved spark vs. the original ignition setup. Headers funnel exhaust gases into its true dual exhaust, which provides that classic muscle car sound. Backing the 302 is a 3-speed automatic transmission, which sends the twist to the Ford 9-inch rear. Front disc brakes have been added, which helps slow this peppy Mustang down better than its original 4-drum setup. This little 'Stang is riding on polished chrome aluminum wheels, which are wrapped with low profile performance radials, which further ride and driver control. Inside, the first thing you'll notice is the high back synthetic leather buckets with their red stitching (to complement the red exterior). Between the well-bolstered front buckets and their Aces Racing 4-point harnesses, you'll get quite the 'competition feel' when you're strapped in up front. A custom center console has been added as well (after all, in 1968, no one was toting their Super Big Gulps along), but these days, 'ya gotta have...
