However, Ford wanted to be clear who sat at the top of the food chain and did so with the introduction of the 'King of the Road. ' For the fortieth anniversary of the iconic Shelby's, FoMoCo brought the 'King' back! Only 1000 KRs were manufactured in 2008 and produced over 200 more horsepower than its legendary predecessor.
