1966 Oldsmobile Toronado

View Description

This would be the first American made mass produced front wheel drive automobile and what a car! Power comes from a 425 cubic inch V8 producing 385 horsepower and 475 lbs/ft of torque! That's quite an entrance for a front wheel drive car. Power is transferred to the front wheels via a TH-425 automatic transmission. This was very close the TH-400 and was found to be very durable. Something different for consumers was the flat floor being there was no need for a transmission tunnel or a hump for the driveshaft. This along with the fastback styled rear end made for a very futuristic styled car. The Toronado was an instant success for Oldsmobile and production continued until 1992 when it was replaced by the Oldsmobile Aurora.

This 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado is powered by its original 425 cubic inch V8 and is painted in a very catchy color named Tropic Turquoise Metallic with a matching interior color. Pop up headlights, white wall radial tires, Power windows, Power brakes, Power steering and A/C make this a great cruising car and a hit at almost any car show. The car received a frame on restoration 2 years ago. The car was taken down...

1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass

View Description

In 1983, looks didn't get much better than this! Only 3,001 examples were built (201 sold in Canada), all of them black with a silver lower body and red dividing stripe. Special badges, door graphics, a rear spoiler, and styled steel wheels were part of the striking exterior package. All of the cars came off Olds- assembly line in Lansing, MI, and then shipped about 45 miles away to secondary manufacturer Cars and Concepts, which changed each Cutlass into a Hurst model. Each carried the order code W40. T-tops were an $825 option, and a power moon roof was offered, too. Performance-wise, every Hurst/Olds packed a four-barrel-fed, 307-cube engine with 180 horsepower, a Hydra-Matic 200-4R overdrive transmission, and a 3. 73 rear axle. Along with its 180 horses was a solid 245 lb-ft of torque. It was a combination good for 16-second quarter-miles and 0-60 sprints of about nine seconds. Options include: A/C (converted to 134a), AM/FM radio, cassette, glass t-tops, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, tilt wheel, seat belts, cloth interior, radial tires, and aluminum/alloy rally wheels. This is a...

1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass

View Description

The 1980-s showed a transformation in the car world with what was only 15 years prior felt like ancient history. No longer did big high horsepower cars rule the road instead it was all about economy and MPG-s. Then in 1983 OLDS comes out with Hurst/Olds package which was an instant classic. Its box styling, V8 power and rear wheel drive was what people were wanting. Unfortunately, the car was only made 2 years making them highly collectible today. This beauty is a clean all original car that has been well maintained over the years and even retains its original paint. The t tops are in terrific condition with no visible leaks known but the car has never been in the rain. The wheels are original and give the car that classic look and feel. Under the hood is the all original 307 OLDS motor that is untouched and like the rest of the car just simply maintained. Now for the thing that makes this Cutlass a Hurst, the shifter. The whole thing about this edition is the -lightning rod- shifter, a concept that has not been put into another factory since. Mounted in the center console is three rods with...

1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass

View Description

Oldsmobile had won a reputation for itself at General Motors by leading the way in engineering breakthroughs, such as Hydra-Matric automatic transmission, first seen on the 1940 models, and the modern high compression Rocket ohv V-8 engine that debuted in 1949. Both were at the leading edge of the swing toward driving ease and abundant power that arose in the 1950s and showed no signs of abating anytime soon. The platform for this power plant was Oldsmobile's unibodies F85 for sale, introduced for 1961 as one of GM's upscale 'senior' compacts. Related to the Buick Special and Pontiac Tempest, it equipped with an all-aluminum, 215-cid 'Rockette' V-8. Boasting a hearty 185hp and spinning with a compression ratio of 10. 25:1 this was one advanced engine for the time. Backed by Oldsmobile's famous 3-speed turbo-hydromantic transmission it makes for the perfect cruiser combo. It does have 6,000 miles on it since the rebuild. The car was traced back to an Arizona car and didn't need much on the restoration, so a gorgeous shade of cream was laid on the car and finished out with all its original trim and chrome. The interior is an also a supple shade of rich cream and...
