The 1968 442 was a car built to run with the big dogs of its day and, not only compete, but leave them in the dust. From the factory, the 442 was capable of putting down a respectable 15 second quarter mile time right off the showroom floor, but if you wanted a car with real power and were willing to pay the extra money to get it, the W30 package was the way to go. The W30 cars were running nearly two seconds faster and putting out a whopping 360 horsepower stock! This Cutlass though, would be able to put a beat down on its stock predecessor. This car has been dyno-tested at 350RWHP and a massive 512ft/lbs of torque! The 455 cubic inch big block Olds engine has been completely refreshed with plenty of performance parts added and has just over 1,000 miles on it since the rebuild. Running at 10. 3:1 compression is plenty for the thump you feel in your chest every time you get in and fire it up.
