In the early 40's the U. S. was on a decade removed from the great depression. America was still bouncing back but just around the corner was WWII. Production would not last long into 1942 when the government ordered the complete shut-down of all civilian automotive manufacturing. This was in direct response to the start of the U. S. 's involvement in WWII. Ford would not be able to restart production until 1946. Here we have a '48 model that has seen many changes. The orange paint is eye catching and pulls your attention. The tan vinyl interior complements the exterior and is also in good order. Powering this cool ride is a 350ci V8 that been converted to EFI and is backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission.
