1968 Ford Mustang

View Description

If you love old cars you will know the Mustang story and it is quite a charming one. By the early 1960's there was quite a bit of competition amongst brands and the need for a 'Pony' car was becoming a reality pretty quickly. After concepts were received well the Mustang was launched on April 17, 1964 and dubbed the 1964 1/2 amongst Mustang followers. The little cars with a choice of a 6 cylinder or V8 engine took off and became an instant success to compete with vehicles like the Chevrolet Camaro, Plymouth Barracuda and Pontiac Firebird.

By 1968 the Mustang had received a minor facelift but still featured that domineering front end, side scoop and classic tri-lens taillights that made this one of the most iconic American cars ever. The option of engines as well as some creature comforts made this a versatile vehicle that could be made as a performer or just a comfortable personal car. This example features the classic 302 Cubic Inch V8 that delivered plenty of power while still providing a smooth and comfortable drive. The automatic transmission shifts very nice and makes driving this classic very fun and easy.

This iconic Machine essentially created the term 'Pony Car' and has been influencing the sports-car market ever since its birth. The Mustang's release took the entire automotive industry by storm. It was only anticipated that Ford would sell less than 100,000 Mustangs upon its arrival into the automotive world. Boy, were they wrong! Ford produced over 1 million Mustangs within the first 18 months of its production due to the enormous demand. This meticulously maintained Mustang is sporting a beautiful high gloss Red paint job that is sure to turn heads wherever you decide to steer this Pony around. The inside is a very clean, Black vinyl interior that is equipped with the split sport seats which sets off this Mustang perfectly. This particular Mustang has more than enough power to get your motors going. It is equipped with a great running, 289 CID V8 full roller motor with many upgrades including a complete rebuild with Edelbrock performance parts which includes the...

This majestic Mustang is powered by a stout and powerful 4. 6L V8 and is backed by a fun and functional 5-speed manual transmission. All the power from the 4. 6L V8 must go somewhere, right? This car is truly appealing to the eye and looks amazing when the sun glistens off the amazing blue paint and appropriate chrome accents. As if the 4. 6L V8 was not rowdy enough, the previous owner had additional exhaust work and tuning done to the car to ensure this Mustang was a beast with the roar to prove it.
