Also known as 'Terminator', Ford's Special Vehicles Team (SVT) really outdid themselves when producing this powerful pony. Upon its release, Ford engineers were claiming a whopping 390 horsepower out of the Supercharged 4. 6L DOHC motor, however, Ford engineers under-rated this popular pony and stock 2003 Cobras were reportedly pushing between 415HP-425HP to the crank! This particular 03 Cobra however has been modified with a pulley and tune upgrade bringing the power output to an impressive 437 horsepower and 510 lb. ft. of torque to the crank verified on the dyno at the wheels. The only transmission option for the 2003 Mustang Cobra is a Tremec T-56 6-Speed manual and paired to the recently replaced clutch and a short throw shifter does an amazing job at translating power to ground. In 2003, only 6,000 Mustang Cobra were produced with only 1,618 available that are identical to this particular pony. Under the hood sits a 302 CID V8 with only 2,000 miles since being rebuilt. The motor is mated a smooth shifting C4 transmission. Bolted to the engine block is a an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, a set of longtube headers, MSD/Accel ignition system w/ loom mount, and a chrome dress-up kit. The entire engine bay looks super clean and well organized.
