The T5 Mustang was Fords way of not paying a copyright fee in Germany for using the Mustang name. They used the T5 designation internally when building the Mustang, so they simply dropped the Mustang and called it a T-5 And problem solved. The car just like in America was an instant success with them being sold to the same up and coming market. This example has been owned by the same couple for the last 50 years with the original transfer paperwork available. The first thing you notice about the car is its green paint which was redone in 1999 back to its original color. The tan top is in great condition with the power option being highly sought after and this one working as it should. The red line wheels are a great look and compliment the deluxe wheel covers nicely. The rocker panel moldings give it a refined look while giving protection to the rockers them self. Under the hood is the original 289 which was gone through about 9000 miles ago. The car runs great with it not blowing any smoke and decent amount of power.
