The wow factor on this early C3 Corvette has got to be functional rear glass hatchback. On a traditional Corvette, the rear glass hatchback debuted in 1978, and was not functional (lifting) until 1982. It sure is neat seeing the long rear glass and rear chrome bumper paired together. The C3 Corvette debuted with front and rear chrome bumpers. In 1973 the front bumper was polyurethane while the rear bumper remained chrome. The chrome bumper was no more in 1974, as both front and rear bumpers were polyurethane. The custom, two tone, blue over silver paint is show quality and was applied about 3 years ago. It still shines like new, and will not disappoint. The black interior appears to be original, but has aged very well, as it shows little to no signs of wear and tear. The T-handle shifter quickly gives away that this is a 4 speed manual transmission, and fun times are sure to come in this 73 Corvette. A 350 CID L82 V8 engine powers this C3 Corvette, which is believed to be original to the car, along with 4 speed manual transmission.
