The third-generation Chevrolet Corvette (C3) was produced for the 1968-1982 model years and set sales records with a high-water mark of 53,807 in the 1979 model year. While the 1968-1974 versions have already seen a huge spike in the collector market, later models offer a lot a car for the dollar. This beautiful Silver 1976 Corvette is a prime example of a low-mile survivor that is getting harder to find by the day. The owner reports the odometer reading at 37,065 as actual and by the look of the beautiful red leather interior, it is hard to argue the point. 1976 models featured steel floor panels that weighed less than the previous fiberglass floor and reduced interior noise levels. Optional cast aluminum wheels were finally made available at a cost of $299.
