The '48 Fleetmaster was the last year for what was one of Chevrolet's most successful models during the 1940s. This particular Fleetmaster is a bit different than when it rolled off the assembly line. The inline six cylinder engine and three speed manual transmission have been replaced by a Vortec 350 and an automatic trans with overdrive.
