1947 Ford F-Series
View Description
This custom-built 'street rod' is a true head-turner, blending vintage muscle with modern performance. Starting with the cab from a 1947 Ford Truck, the vehicle has been modified, including a 6-inch chop off the bottom, a new steel floor, and firewall. The attention to detail extends to all new glass, chrome handles, seats, and a steering column, ensuring both style and comfort. The body is mounted on a custom-built frame featuring a ladder bar rear suspension with coil-over shocks, a Lucky Seven front end with disc brakes, and braided hoses for both the front and rear. Custom headlights add a unique touch to the vehicle's aggressive stance. Under the hood lies a Mild 454 Big Block Chevy (BBC) engine, equipped with an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake. Fuel delivery is handled by a Quick Fuel 750 carburetor, feeding into Laker Style headers with a full exhaust system. This powerhouse is mated to a fully rebuilt GM 700R4 transmission, complete with a 2800 Stahl Converter, ensuring smooth and responsive shifts....
