They don't make cars as beautiful as cars were in the late 50's: the curves and the pronounced tail fins add flair and character that no car today offers. During the restoration, its owner decided to focus on performance over pretty, starting with the engine of course. Its potent BluePrint Engines 'Cruiser' 350 CID V8 (dynoed at 375 flywheel HP) is outfitted with a complete Holley Sniper 2 fuel injection system (including new fuel tank and Holley in-tank fuel pump). Backing the peppy 350 is a stout Bowler Transmissions Tru-Street 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to its new wiring harness, several enhanced subsystems are now supported, starting with the addition of dual electric fans for massive aluminum radiator. A serpentine accessory drive front of engine kit has been added to tidy things up and simplify the engine bay. Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds feed into a true dual exhaust, which sounds just right. The car is equipped with power steering too, but more importantly it has a new R134a Vintage Air A/C system.
