The 1960s brought in the muscle car era and Oldsmobile did not disappoint with the ever popular 442 model. This 1976 Cutlass Supreme is a fourth- generation model that ran from 1973-1977. Built as a two-door, four-door and a wagon. The 1976 Cutlass became the best-selling car in America for the first time. A title it would hold well into the 1980s. New for 1976 was a restyled front end with waterfall grilles and rectangular headlights. The two-door coupes rendered a smoother less contoured look. The upscale 'Brougham' package was introduced for the first time in 1976.
