Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to offer this awesome 1969 Nova SS Tribute. This is without a doubt one of the nicest 3rd-gen Novas that we've had, in terms of the quality of the restoration. The Butternut Yellow paint has been applied and finished with great care, and you'll be hard pressed to find anything about the paintwork that you'd want to find issue with. It just looks "factory". The same goes for the execution of the vinyl roof and the interior - very nicely done, and they look great! This beast is powered by the venerable 396 CID V8, which seems to have a bit more cam than it might have originally had, given the healthy rumble it's putting out. Ignition for the big block is by MSD: billet distributor, Blaster coil, and plug wires. Behind the 396 is a GM TH400 3-speed automatic, so those who dislike operating a clutch are in luck! The car was restored to look as though it just left the factory assembly line (minus the chalk and wax marker stamps under the hood), and it carries that out wonderfully. If you're seeing this listing on a website other than our own, be sure to check out its ad on our site, as you will see the full suite of undercarriage photos there. Suffice it to say, this car is as clean and nice looking underneath as it is "up top". The subframe is done in an attractive gloss black, and the floor pans are probably nicer looking than when the car first rolled off the line. Virtually everything that could be replaced during the restoration was acted upon (no receipts, though) ...when "up close and personal" with the car, viewers will note the new window felts and weatherstripping, and the noticeable lack of leakage from having poor sealing against the elements. Inside, the black carpet, headliner, and seating surfaces all appear like new; and, about the only thing in the passenger compartment that isn't original is the triple gauge cluster under the dash. This gorgeous big block Nova rides on a set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires on its Chevy "Rallye style" wheels with their chrome beauty rings and turbine-inspired center caps, so it all looks quite period correct. Options on this 1969 Chevrolet Nova include AM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Rallye Wheels, Seatbelts, and Vinyl Interior. This is one of those classics that both looks good and runs even better. Don't let someone else beat you to it - call or email our Houston Showroom today to make it yours!
