The 1949-1953 Oldsmobile options were known for style and performance. With the introduction of the 135hp Rocket V8 the 88 Model was a force to be reckoned with on the street. With - a relatively - low power to weight and success on the ovals of NASCAR, it is no wonder Ike Turner made the classic Rock and Roll song 'Rocket 88'! This 88 is a great example of aging with style. It runs and presents as a 'survivor'. It is resplendent in what appears to be Oldsmobile Shoal Green with chrome trim, hub caps, and white wall tires. The interior flows well with the exterior and features cloth seats with seat belts. The interior seems to appear to be correct for a 1951 and has minor signs of wear.
