1953 Packard Clipper
View Description
Packard was always known for solid engineering and outstanding reliability. The 1953 Clipper continued that tradition with the addition of fresh styling and a focus on breaking into the crowded mid-range market. Featuring solid construction with a rust-free body and good chrome and trim, this car is in great condition. The big four door sedan is finished in cream over a grey cloth interior. Powered by a 288ci inline eight with a two-speed Ultramatic automatic transmission. The 150hp eight provides silky smooth acceleration and it's great for cruising. The Packard runs and drives well with a stately feel to its operation. The interior reflects the exterior with no rips or tears in the upholstery, just minor wear on the switch gear. The dash looks lovely in grey, and the gauges are in working order. The only non-working feature is the factory radio. Otherwise, this 53 Packard Clipper is an awesome cruiser and daily driver...
