Ford Motor Company gifted the original race-used pace car to The Henry Ford, where it remains today. Ford Motor also produced some 2,000 replicas for sale to the public. This one, was 1 of 2 that was a AAA car at Indianapolis the day of the race. The one used as the pace car can be found at the Henry Ford museum, and this one was the backup car. Each replica included the same features (Ford-O-Matic transmission, power steering, Continental spare tire kit), along with Sungate Ivory paint, and gold lettering.
