Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is excited to be able to present this absolutely stunning 1934 Ford 3 window coupe. This build is of the highest quality & is a "top to bottom" show winner! This started off with 1934 Ford chassis that was underneath an early 90's Gibbon fiberglass Ford 3 window body (For those not in the know, Gibbon Fiberglass Reproductions was founded in 1971 and was widely recognized as the ultimate manufacturer of exact replica Ford bodies), complete with a steel Rootlieb 4-piece louvered hood with a "Quick Latch" push-button locking system and all steel running boards, sprayed in a beautiful "Spies Heckler" custom Permacron base of "Blue Ice" & it shows superbly. The unique color is nicely complimented by custom details expected from such a quality build, such as the raked billet aluminum grill, the oversized true H.I.D. headlamps with transformers sitting at just the right angles, the L.E.D. taillight conversion and the American Racing "Salt Flat" wheels with the polished lips wrapped with some aggressive looking Falken rubber. In the sunlight, this '34 shines like the jewel it is! Under the hood is even more good stuff, housing the 350CID/415hp LT1 that is fed by a factory fuel injection set up with Painless Performance wiring and is completed with wicked looking carbon fiber valve covers & a custom intake that uses 2 K&N air filters, ensuring it breathes properly. Laying the LT1 power to the ground is done through the Phoenix Transmissions built 700R4 tranny and 3.73 gearing making cruising a joy. The engine note is supplies compliments of coated full length headers running through a Magnaflow exhaust. Wide band O2 sensors, OptiSpark, Flaming River Power Steering rack, Detroit Speed pump, BeCool radiator and an Alan Groves serpentine belt & bracket system are but a portion of the entire list, but you are getting the idea. Now image that all of this is sitting on a road race ready suspension... because this one is! A Heidts Mustang II front end with all polished control arms, Ridetech adjustables on all 4 corners, front/rear sway bars & a triangulated 4-bar rear suspension is sure to allow this '34 to throw some G's around, and it's brought to a sure stop compliments of the Baer 4 wheel disc braking. The Shaun Cook installed "Baltic" ultra leather and square weave carpets are letting people know that this is truly a high-end custom. A trunk-mounted Vintage A/C system, power windows, back up camera, Ididit chrome tilt steering column, Dakota Digital cruise control, VDO gauges and a removable clip safety belt harness set up still doesn't tell the entire story of this custom. If the "crme de la crme" is all that you will settle for, this gorgeous 1934 Ford most definitely checks that box!
