Beneath its iconic hood lies a beastly 496 CID Stroker V8 engine that delivers a breathtaking 500 rear-wheel horsepower, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience. The restoration project spanned eight years, with attention given to every detail, down to the very shell of the vehicle. Most of the sheet metal work was performed by the owner, who also handled the complete disassembly and re-assembly using new parts for 99% of the car. The comprehensive electrical work, including a renewed fuse panel and custom fan and alternator wiring, ensures modern reliability. Alan Pound from A&R Restorations applied his skill to the finishing work and paint, achieving a glossy finish.
