This unique Corvette was designed and built by renowned Karl Kustom Corvettes to resemble the iconic 1963 Split Window Coupe! If only Chevrolet had built the C6 Corvette to look like this from the factory!
Under the hood of this KKC Corvette sits an 430 HP LS3 Motor complete with KKC Stainless and Chrome dress-up kit. The motor is paired to a 6-Speed manual transmission that enables a more “sporty†feeling when cruising around town. Inside, other than the modified leather interior, the car very much resembles what you would expect to find in a C6 Corvette. But outside, it’s a whole new ballgame.
Despite being fitted with ZR1 Wheels and Racing Calipers, the entire body has been replaced to resemble the Corvettes from the good’ol days. Back in the day, only a limited production of rear “Split Window†Corvettes ever rolled off the assembly line, and only a limited number of these KCC late model reproductions was ever produced as well – making this KKC Corvette a rare gem. The sleek and sexy lines paired with the chrome trim front and rear steel bumpers on this car bring you back into a time when the Government had limited control of what manufactures could and could not design and fabricate. Even the custom projection headlights on this car flip and rotate just as they did in the early models. This, is truly a tribute to those glory days.
This car has and will always be an eyecatcher on the road, and at the car show!
