Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is a very nice vintage classic 1963 Chevrolet Corvette (C2) also known as the Corvette Stingray. The Second Generation Corvette Stingray is a sports car that was produced by Chevrolet for the 1963 to 1967 model years. The 1963 Stingray production car's lineage can be traced to two separate GM projects: the Q-Corvette, and perhaps more directly, Mitchell's racing Stingray. This sporty little Classic 63 Corvette has a very nice 327 CID V8 that is linked to a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission. All 1963 cars had 327cid engines, which made 250 hp (186 kW) standard, with optional variants that made 300 hp (224 kW), 340 hp (254 kW) and 360 hp (268 kW). This 1963 Corvette Stingray has a very nice sound and rumble from the engine and thanks to the headers and custom exhaust. The exterior color on this classy little 63 Corvette is a very rich and glossy silver that is complimented very nicely by the black leather interior and black carpet. This is a numbers matching car that is a 3 owner car that was bought by 2 brothers from the original owner in 1973 and has been in there family now for over 42 years.
