1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500E for sale in our Tampa Showroom. This beautiful Eleanor tribute is powered by a stout 427 cubic inch V8 engine with a ton of bolt on power adders. The engine is a crate 427 with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor with electric choke, big shorty headers running to Flowmaster dual exhaust, MSD billet distributor, MSD coil, Cobra air cleaner and valve covers, an aluminum radiator, a flex fan, and some chrome to keep it show ready. The chrome parts on this GT500 clone for sale include the power steering pump, alternator, fan shroud, and spark plug looms, and it’s all surrounded by gloss black on the radiator support, smoothed firewall, smoothed cowl panel, and smoothed inner fenders. You will also notice that the engine compartment looks a lot less cluttered than most. That is because they eliminated the shock towers and went with adjustable coil over suspension in the front, tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, and a big sway bar to keep the front end pointed in the right direction! The front end also has Wilwood drilled and slotted brakes backed by a Wilwood master cylinder to make sure she stops as fast as she goes. The rear end is held in place with a CalTracs adjustable four link setup, to make sure all that power gets to the ground! The outside is adorned with an Eleanor front clip, fenders, quarter scoops high and low, fiberglass hood, quarter panels, and rockers to give it that one of a kind look. The menacing hood scoop, Eleanor aluminum wheels, Nitto Extreme Drag tires, tinted windows, and Wimbledon White paint with Brittany Blue racing stripes give this car looks that could kill! Inside you are comforted by ProCar racing buckets, a fold down rear seat, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD player with 4 speakers, A/C, tilt column with LeCarra steering wheel, seat belts, easy to read gauges, and Cobra carpet floor mats to tie it all together. The last thing the Camaro owner that just tried to race you will see are the sequential turn signals out back, that work just like they should. The roof and doors are original metal from the 67 donor car, and the rest of this beautiful body was provided by Dynacorn, who makes a great product!
