It's in soldid mechanical condition with a great running 1600cc flat four mated to the - now uncommon - 3 speed semi-automatic "Auto-stick". This neat feature allows for clutch free shifting, just move the stick through the gate as usual, but no clutch to manipulate. The car is finished in an artificially aged, red over black steel wheels and chrome hubcaps. The chrome is in good condition and the car shows no obvious signs of rot in the body. The interior is finished in black vinyl with no rips of tears. The seller reports that basic maintenance has been done over the years such as suspension work, oil changes and minor rust repair. Everything is reported to be in working order including the radio. This plucky little VW Bug is ready to go and has a good vibe about it. Jump in, push the Auto-Stick around and enjoy the ride.
