Ordered and loved by one owner and kept in the family for forty-eight years! This time capsule, 74 Road Runner was originally ordered as a ‘first car’ gift for seller’s husband. It later served as a honeymoon chariot, family run-about and finally went full circle as an occasional cruiser for one of the kids. The car has always been well maintained and is all original. The seller claims the 318ci v8, with the 3 speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission are factory original as well as the paint and most of the interior. The car does wear some period custom touches. Such as a set of 1980s 3-piece Enkei Wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires and custom diamond stitch covered, package trey and interior accents. These compliment the rip free black, bucket seat interior and wood grained dash. The car runs and shifts well and presents as well-loved survivor with minimal cosmetic and mechanical wear for its age. The only non-working feature is the AC, although the blower and controls work, the R12 is long gone. This car is so ‘period correct’ in appearance, you’d think it was a purpose-built prop car for a late 70s or 1980s movie. The bigger B-bodys of the early 70s are gaining in popularity. They’re an uncommon sight these days; never mind an all original 74 Road Runner with great history. Hurry and grab this piece of history before it’s too late!
