The Chevrolet Corvette (C5) was the fifth generation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car, produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1997 through 2004 model years. This sharp yellow convertible has only about 79k miles on it and only a few owners. Powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 engine producing an impressive 345 HP and mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, this car will not disappoint. The current owner took it a step farther by adding headers, doing some CAM work, and dual quad Corsa exhaust system. Many upgrades were adding when ordering this beautiful machine like the painted alloy wheels, convertible top, adjustable bucket seats, Cd player and sound system, A/C, power heated mirrors, Halogen headlamps and so much more! The C5 is competitive in regard to the 0-60 mph acceleration times with almost all premium sports cars of its era, including the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, and the Ferrari 355. A composite of published performance numbers for the base-model coupe and convertible gives a 0-60 mph time of around 4.5 seconds, and a standing quarter-mile time of around 13.3 seconds at 108 mph (both times for a vehicle equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission) (this car also has performance upgrades added as well).
