1966 Ford Mustang

Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is this Beastly 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. This bad pony is ready for the drag strip or the street with its aggressive appeal and style. This one comes equipped with a 351 Cleveland engine, bored .060” over and stroked to a massive 400 CI. The engine was blueprinted and had minor oiling modifications done to it to ease up oil restrictions on the top end. This block, reinforced by the 4 bolt mains, fitted with a deep oil pan and a fluid dampener. On the top end, it was built with 4 valve quench heads, ported and polished to ease intake and exhaust flow. It was fitted with a solid roller cam from Cam Research, hardened push rods, and 1.73:1 roller rockers. All this to add up to an estimated 500 HP. To transfer all the muscle to the street, the Mustang comes equipped with a Topload 4-speed manual transmission, fitted with a McLeod Clutch, and attached to a custom built driveshaft, bolted to a built Ford 9” rear end, narrowed and reinforced and Moser 31 Spline axles with 4.57:1 gears. This vehicle comes equipped with 4 wheel disk brakes, and full 29x18.5 Mickey Thompson radials in the rear, mounted to Centerline Convo Pro Wheels. The interior has been fitted with custom race bucket seats, with 5 point racing harnesses and a full 10-point roll cage with locking swing out bars on the doors. All ignition has been replaced with race inspire technology, including Painless Wiring ignition box mounted to the top roll bar, with switches for Fuel, Fans, Ignition, and Start. In the back of the car, It has been custom fitted with 10” subwoofers to show off in style, when you’re not out racing it at the strip. Inside the trunk, the Rear end has been tubbed out 9” to fit the Mickey Thompsons. A remarkably large fuel cell is mounted inside the trunk with a race style fuel pump. This pony is ready for anything you can throw at it, it is sure to turn heads at shows, the drag strip, or driving it down the street.
