Back in the 90s the Fox Body “5 point oh" was still a phenomenon on the street, and except for the top of the line GT or Cobra; the LX convertible was a car to be seen in. This one still has its original 5.0 V8, receiving little more than a new timing chain, thermostat and water pump over the years. It runs well. The transmission shifts as designed and the car drives like a Fox body should. The interior is in great condition and covered in black leather; it looks classy. The car has a power roof, and AC. Both work with the AC showing signs of needing a charge. This Mustang LX is free of the typical damage a lot of these cars received over the years. The only obvious sign of its age is the faded paint and minor scuffs and road chips. Considering it has turned 85,600+ miles it's in surprisingly solid shape. A great driver quality car. Something to enjoy while making it perfect, or leave alone and drive worry free.
