Up for sale in our Tampa Showroom is one spectacular 1936 Ford Pick-up. This fiberglass extended cab pick-up is something you would've never seen off the showroom floor in 1936, due to the fact that extended cabs weren't offered that year. The craftsmanship of the 36' Ford truck for sale is truly something to be marveled at. It has a fully custom built frame, that's powder coated a gorgeous hue of blue. It has a full Fatman suspension, including a power rack and pinion steering system, as well as disc brakes, on all four corners. The 1936 Ford's glossy Black paint and slight rake perfectly meshes with the Cragar SS rims and BFG radials that are tucked beneath the flared wheel wells. It looks long, mean, and sleek. But don't let the custom look fool you. Looking at this truck, you see all of the modern customizations, with the subtle hints of vintage 1936 via the grille, fenders, and wooden bed. You venture into the inside of the cab and you're thrown back into your seat, or at least what could potential be your seat. At just one glance, you can see the detail given to the custom interior. There is billet and polished aluminum from the floor to the ceiling. The red leather looks brand new, with small black inserts tastefully placed throughout the interior. You can still smell the breathtaking aroma of fresh leather, in the cab. With a headliner, carpet, and seatbelts to match, you can tell this 36' Pick-up was truly built to be driven. Little conveniences like keyless remote entry, power windows, power drivers seat, CD player, cruise control, electric windshield wipers, Nostalgic Air Parts air conditioning, and even a port to charge your cell phone were added to this truck to provide the upmost comfort and convenience. Heck, this bad boy is even CB radio ready! Just add an antenna and it's "10-4 good buddy." Working from the seats forward, you come up to the steering column, a tilt column with cruise control, which was produced by Ididit, one of the most prestigious names in aftermarket steering parts. A Banjo steering wheel adorns the tilt column, and you find yourself peeking though the steering wheel, to see a gorgeous set of VDO gauges. You turn the key to the ignition and realize that this isn't just a beauty, but it's also a beast! Beneath the hood lies a fuel injected 5.0 high output Ford engine. It's backed by a sturdy C6 transmission, which is then put to the pavement by the hot rodding standard Ford 9 inch rear end. The engine bay is clean, polished, and tight, with all wires neatly tucked and tagged, via a Ron Francis wiring harness. As we work our way to the back of the truck, we take a ride along the curves of the fenders and find ourselves peeking over the top of the bedrails, admiring the wood slats laid in between strips of polished stainless steel. Behind the tailgate we see the super trap dual exhaust tips, that muffles the tone, for a nice quiet ride. This 1936 Ford extended cab pick-up truck would make a fantastic show car or a lovely daily driver and is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (813)-645-6200 for additional information.
