The rareness of this car model is due to the “Swing Away†steering column that functions when the car is in park and the drivers side door is opened. Unit productions of this option were very few making it truly a rare find.
The current owner claims to be the 3rd owner since new and that its been in storage for most of its life before and after its frame-on restoration in 2010 including new paint and new fuel cell. Under the hoods sits the original 289CID V8 and transmission. The paint is in great condition and shines brilliantly in the sun, and the original interior shows very minimal signs of normal wear and tear relative to its age. Underneath the car appears to be all original with evidence of only minor surface rust, and no known corrosion.
