The 4th generation Corvette aimed to reclaim the sports car handling title as cars around the world started growing well beyond the reaches of the C4. Nearly every part used was different or new. These cars initially were a bit too good in the handling department. Folks complained of ride stiffness and rigidity and later years received softer shocks to tone back the seriousness a bit.
This car has a copy of it's original window sticker and came with some decent options including 6 way adjustable seats and $1,025 optional sport buckets. The Delco/Bose audio system was also selected tacking on another $895 to the window sticker. All told the car optioned out at $30,767.
According to the CarFax the car went to it's current owner in 2014. This kind of ownership history is ideal and the car looks great! These cars are appreciating modern classics. They are the benefit of much better reliability, fuel economy, and safety standards compared to their elders!
