Everyone loves a car with a story, and boy does this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette have one! This vehicle was purchased by the current owner sometime around 1975. From that point the car was enjoyed, maintained and restored. The Roman Red paint shows nicely for being done in 1988. The engine, while not numbers matching, is a 340HP 327 V8 with correct numbers for the era according to the owners paperwork. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts nicely and performs as it should. The rear end is not posi-traction and spins 3.36 gears. There are some key photographs available from the frame-off restoration performed years ago. This is an opportunity for a real driver's car, or an investment opportunity.
