The crate engine started life as a 350 cubic inch small block, and was built to a blown 383 stroker putting out 715 horsepower! The crate engine in this 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod was built by Big Al's Toy box two years ago and has roughly 500 miles on it. The transmission is a built TH400 capable of handling all the power coming from the monster motor upfront and has roughly 50 miles on it. Spool up the blower, and send that power down the driveshaft to the 4.11 posi-traction rear end and you have the most fun ride in the world stoplight to stoplight. You WILL be seen and photographed extensively in this ride. Going to car shows is almost as much fun as driving it. Park next to cars with $20,000 paint jobs and watch them flock to your new 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod. The vertical stacks add to the looks big time, and better yet they are functional! Open up the cutouts just before the firewall and feel the thunder from the engine. Close the cutouts and send the exhaust through those stacks with glass packs to mellow out the thunder, and hear that supercharger whine.
