For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. From bare metal to a deep black gloss, this beautiful restomod is ready to impress. The looks alone will impress all and then there's the drivetrain! A stroker 347 with fuel injection and a roller cam, a duel disc clutch with a Tremec 5 speed and a Ford 9 inch rear housing a set of 3.89 gears with posi traction. This is an amazing machine to say the least! The build has roughly 1,000 miles since completion and as expected, is quite the head turner. Complimenting the look is a set of staggered 17 inch aluminum wheels wrapped in high performance Yokohama rubber.

The engine is a blue printed 347 stroker with aluminum AFR cylinder heads, aluminum Edelbrock intake, aluminum water pump, Stainless shorty headers, 70mm throttle body with Pro M mass airflow, 30 lbs. injectors, and an MSD billet distributor and coil. Horsepower is rated at 344 and torque at 354. The Tremec 5 speed is controlled by a Hurst Pro Ripper shifter.

All of this well built power needs a place to go and confidently putting it to the road is aided by adjustable coil over shocks and Power rack and pinion steering. Of course that sticky Yokohama rubber helps out too as does the posi traction.

Inside is a fresh interior by TMI. I think most would agree that a red interior is about as good as it gets with a black car! With such a detailed build, starting from bare metal with no filler, 4 wheel disc brakes, cold A/C and a lot of high performance goodies, this is hard to beat.
