Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this striking blue 1970 Ford Mustang Coupe for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis. This classic is ready to drive and show-off immediately. It is also priced to sell.

BACKGROUND: The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and engine power. The 1970 Ford Mustang was the last year before its dramatic redesign (source: Wikipedia).

This particular 1970 Ford Mustang, originally built in San Jose, California, is now powered by a 351 Windsor (410 HP) with a C4 3 speed automatic transmission. Underneath the hood, you'll also find a Holly 4-barrel Edelbrock headers and a dual Magnaflow exhaust. Stopping your American racing wheels (225/50/17 front and 245/50/17 rear) going over the edge are front disc and rear drum brakes. Getting you to where you need to be is assisted by a smooth turning power steering and a B&M Z-gate shifter. There are many other new parts and upgrades to this classic, including a 20" Maxcore 3-row radiator, heater core, hoses, steering RAG joint, master cylinder, front wheel bearing and seals, brake lines, speedometer & cable, instrument cluster rebuild with LED lighting & new gauge circuit board, turn signal wire harness, horns, Bluetooth, CD player, washer pump, hoses, nozzles. Some original and replacement parts, along with a shop manual and wiring diagrams on a CD are in the trunk of the car and included with the purchase.
