This chopped custom is a very unique and well-built Model A that will stand out at any car show. The frame off build includes a 500-cubic inch Cadillac big block engine and a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to a Ford 9-inch rear end with highway gears. Slowing things down is a breeze thanks to disc brakes up front and drums out back.
Painted in a satin black with a fabric cover for the roof a bed cover, green pinstriping and green engine accents all work very well together and to finish off the look is a set of American racing Torque Thrust wrapped in radial rubber with wide white walls. The build has a little over 9,500 miles and just completed a trip to the “Cruising the Coast" down in Gulf Shores. That is no short trip and a great testament to the car's reliability and highway worthiness.
Some of the custom touches to this hot rod include 1934 Ford Headlights, fabric top and bed cover, Power windows, Air Conditioning, Telescopic and tilt steering wheel, AM/FM radio with CD player, Line lock, battery hidden in cooler located in the bed, Aluminum American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with wide white walls and a Power tilting dash board. Yes, a Power tilt dash board. With the flip of a switch the dash tilts outward towards the steering wheel exposing the very neat and tidy wiring for all the gauges and the hidden ignition coil.
