For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. 1973 would be the last year for the full-sized Mustang as 1974 would introduce the Mustang II. In 1974 sales did increase, however when considering classic cars today, they're a far cry from the popularity of the 1973 and older Mustangs. This one has had the same proud owner for the last 30 years and is now ready for a new home. Restoration work was completed in 1997 and included an engine rebuild, body and paint work. Repainted in Pacific Green with Gold accents with stock steel wheels. Inside is traditional Mustang with an array of gauges, bucket seats and a floor shifter. The interior being tan cloth works very well with the two-toned exterior and will certainly be cooler in the summer as opposed to black vinyl. Power comes from a 351 with only 1,540 miles since being rebuilt. Shifting is easy thanks to a 3-speed automatic. Front power disc brakes offer safe and reliable braking. Don't miss out on this 1973 Ford Mustang Mach One. This is that last year that Ford would offer the 351 in a Mustang.
