Our St. Louis showroom is proud to present this beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. In 1965 as this Mustang was first hitting the roads, "I Can't Help Myself" by the Four Tops was airing on the radio as "The Sound of Music" was playing in theatres. This American muscle car takes you right back to those times. The car is a California C-Code car that started life at the San Jose plant in 1964. It is painted a vibrant Poppy Red which is best described as a bright orange color. The GT350 styled 18” Weld RT-S wheels and new Sumitomo tires really set the car off nicely. Under the hood you’ll find a 289 CID V8, 4 barrel carb and a new battery. The owner has recently invested some money in the vehicle to make sure everything works as intended. It is showing 97,645 on the odometer but it is undocumented if this is actual mileage. Sitting on the vinyl seats inside the gorgeous white interior, you’ll notice seat belts, AM/FM radio and that awesome view that you only get from a classic Mustang. You won’t want to get out of the car once you’ve shifted through the 3-speed manual transmission and heard that sweet rumble of the V8! You will be pleased to know that the heat, courtesy lights, wipers, brake lights, gauges and all exterior lights work as they should. Even the glass on this car is in good shape. Don’t miss this opportunity to own this excellent example. Avoid the hassle and unsightly cost of a timely restoration and pursue a car that is turn-key ready.
