Mustang fans were not sad to see the demise of the previous "Mustang II" generation. The Fox Body offered a small, lightweight platform which was perfect to house the famous 5.0 V8. From 1979 through the early 1990s, there were subtle changes to the appearance, as well as drive train improvements. This 1989 features the most modern front and rear clips which most would argue make for the most attractive of the Fox Bodies. This one is a black GT hatchback with dark interior which is a desirable color combination. Of course it has the 5.0 under the hood as well as a 5 speed transmission. This two owner vehicle has only traveled 44,178 miles since new and has been kept completely stock right down to the radio. This car has been well maintained and still has working AC as well as: power windows, power seat, power locks, cruise control, and a pop up sunroof. Many Fox bodies have been cut up and turned into race cars, or modified unprofessionally into teen aged street racers. It's rare to find a car with such low miles, in such good shape, which has been kept stock. This is a car for the Mustang collector, and the novice muscle car buyer alike.
