From that time until the early 2000s the car was stored in a heated/air conditioned garage completely out of the elements. This car has been completely restored to the Hemi powered monster you see today. Originally born with a 383, this car now sports a 472 Hemi V8 which was machine shop built in 2012. They started with a brand new world block and through the performance parts book at it. This one has been balanced and line bored and has an Eagle steel crank, 4.150 stroke, diamond forged pistons, Eagle H beam rods, copetition cam, Crane rods, Milodon oil pan, and 1966 street hemi heads. The engine inhales though a 850 Demon carburetor and exhales through TTI headers and exhaust with Dynamax mufflers. The one also has MSD distributor, MSD 6 AL ignition box, and an aluminum radiator with dual fans. This engine has been dynoed at 535 HP and 573 lb ft of torque. The car has a Hemi K member, which is powder coated as well as the intake, and water pump housing. The car has a new fuel tank, sender, and brake lines. The brakes are 4 wheel discs from SSBC which have a new master cylinder. Backing the Hemi is a TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission which is shifted with a traditional pistol grip shifter. The rear end has Randy's ring and pinion, and 4.11 gears with Sure Grip powerlock. The body is finished in a beautiful coat of bright red which shows off the long straight body. The floor and roof have covered with Dyna-mat to insulate heat and sound. The interior is new and in great shape with traditional black vinyl. The stereo has been upgraded with an Alpine CD/Bluetooth/radio head unit. It has 4 concealed speakers and a subwoofer. Overall this Road Runner has been built to be a Mopar lover's dream vehicle.
