For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an all original steel 1947 Plymouth Super Deluxe Club Coupe. The odometer reads 11,340, which represents the mileage since the restoration was complete. Options for this 1947 Plymouth Super Deluxe Coupe include: Air Conditioning, AM Radio, 6 Disc CD Changer, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This 47' Plymouth has underwent a professional frame off restoration in 2006 and still looks fantastic. A Mopar Performance 360 CID V8 crate engine powers this 47' Plymouth and produces 380 horsepower. A Holley throttle solenoid and Mighty Demon 650 CFM carburetor have been added to the 360 V8 for enhanced performance. Ceramic coated Hugger Headers flow from the V8 and provide an excellent, rumbling sound. A Griffin Built aluminum radiator has been employed to keep this beast cool and happy. A 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission with a TCI 2200 torque converter and a Derale remote oil cooler transfers the power to the Ford 9" rear end which houses 3.55 gears. An Ididit tilt column has been added for easy entry and exit of the car. A rebuilt rack and pinion power steering enhances handling, and makes driving the old Plymouth a breeze. Up front, a Fatman 5" dropped spindle along with new heavy duty coil springs, tube shock absorbers, and a new sway bar have been added to the original independent front suspension for better handling and ride comfort. New Posey leaf springs and a new sway bar have been added in the rear. This Plymouth hot rod also has a 22 gallon fuel cell for those extended Sunday cruises. The deep blue paint features a metallic flake and looks amazing. The interior remains much like it did in 1947, with a few tasteful upgrades including the VDO gauges and the Lokar shifter.
