For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a WWII Era 1945 Willys MB Jeep. The odometer on this Jeep reads 459, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1945 Willys MB Jeep include: Cloth Interior, Rear Mounted Spare Tire and Gas Can, Manual convertible Top, Bias Ply Tires, Black Out Head Light, and Driver's Side Mounted Axe and Shovel. This MB Jeep is powered by the world famous "Go Devil" Flathead 4 cylinder engine, which is believed to be the original engine to the Jeep. A 3 speed manual transmission was in charge of shifting the power to the high/low transfer case. This 45' Jeep fires right up, is a blast to drive, and zips around with ease. This Jeep is finished in Olive Drab both inside and out. On top of that Olive Drab paint are white military markings, including: a five point star with a broken circle on the hood, a 5 point star on the rear quarter, the military registration number on the both sides of the hood, Major command (Army, Corps, Division) and Intermediate command (regiment, battalion) on the left side of the front bumper and left side of the rear bumperette, and unit or activity (company) and vehicle number (order of march) on the right side of the front bumper and right side of the rear bumperette. A quick walk around this MB Jeep and the authenticity is quickly appreciated, from the shovel and axe mounted to the driver's side to the spare tire and gas can mounted at the rear. This 45' Jeep is offered individually, and would make a nice companion with the 1943 M3 37MM Anti-Tank Gun, stock #6830. To view this 1945 Willys MB Jeep in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of the Jeep running and driving visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom.
