For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautiful 1961 Chevrolet Corvette. This Corvette Resto-Mod won Best Corvette Award Super Chevy Show in 2015 and has all the classic looks of a 61' Corvette and the desired modern goodies. Options for this 1961 Chevrolet Corvette include: AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Hard and Soft Top (price is without the hardtop), Seat Belts, Leatherette Interior, Radial Tires, American Racing Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This C1 Corvette is finished with a base coat clear coat in Victory Red, with the side coves painted in Chrysler Vanilla Cove. This color combination is perhaps the most iconic combination on the Corvette and reeks of Americana. A brand new black soft top is in place and has been used very sparingly, also a rare hard top comes with this beautiful Corvette. This Corvette gets it's proud stance from a combination of the chassis being lowered 2.5" and sitting on staggered polished aluminum American Racing Torque Thrust wheels (15"X6" in the front and 16"X7" in the rear) which are mounted to Yokohama radial tires. The red leatherette interior is in excellent condition, free from rips, tears, and wear. The dash features white faced gauges that provide a very sporty appearance, and more importantly, are easy to read. A custom LeCarra half wrapped steering wheel and custom Lokar Billets pedals complete the overall appearance of the interior. Underneath the hood is a new Chevrolet 5.7L crate engine featuring aluminum Flo-Tec heads, roller rockers, Comp Thumper cam, HEI ignition, Edelbrock Endurashine aluminum intake, and a Street DeMon carburetor. Chrome accents/accessories including custom Billet valve covers, a smoothie firewall, and an LS-2 styled custom engine cover provide a unique engine appearance. HPC coated headers flow to the polished electronic cut-outs, which provide a super aggressive and downright loud, awesome sound. A Borg Warner T-10 Super 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter featuring a Billet ball Moon handle has been employed to transfer the power to the stock rear end which houses 3.55 gears. To slow this resto-mod beast down, 11" drilled and slotted disc brakes and a new MII master cylinder have been installed up front. They not only look good, but they work great to! The original chassis has been cleaned and painted and also looks outstanding. This is a Best of Show winner and will be a hit at all the shows you attend this coming year. The appraisal for this car from an independent classic car appraiser came in at $87,900, which we are priced well below!
