For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an unforgettable 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback GT350 Tribute. Why unforgettable you ask? This is one of 3 Mustang Fastback GT350 cars that were used in the blockbuster hit "Bucket List", that featured Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. A billionaire and an auto mechanic meet in the hospital as they are both dying, and complete each other's wish list of things to do before they "kick the bucket." One of Carter's (Morgan Freeman's character) items on the list was to drive a Shelby Mustang. As you may remember from the film, Carter was not a careful driver. Have no fear, this 66' Mustang GT350 Tribute was not used in any of the jump or contact scenes, it was used strictly for the green screen and close up scenes. Options for this 1966 Ford Mustang GT350 Tribute include: AM Radio, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, 4 Point Roll Cage, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Powering this 66' Mustang Fastback is a 289 CID V8 featuring an Edelbrock aluminum intake, a new Holley carburetor, and Cobra aluminum valve covers. The 289 V8 is matched to a 4 speed manual transmission. Although this 66' GT350 was not used in the jumps scenes it does feature an oil pan skid plate and sub-frame connectors (which many folks add to these cars anyway). Finished in the ever classic red with white racing stripes, both featuring a gorgeous pearl and metal flake effect. Matched perfectly is the black vinyl interior and my personal favorite the wood grain steering wheel to capture the essence of the era and the car. Capping off the overall look are the Vintage Wheel Works aluminum/alloy wheels that scream Shelby Mustang. You can own a piece of Hollywood history with this 66' Ford Mustang Fastback, and have fun driving it all the while.
