It is powered by the original L36 427 CID Big Block V8, which is matched to the M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission, and the rear end features 3.08 gears. This is the perfect combination for a Corvette that is easy to drive and still have plenty of horsepower to have fun with at the same time.
