Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer one bad to the bone 1999 Ford Mustang. As you can probably tell right away, this is no ordinary Mustang. The car was born as a run of the mill GT which would've come with the 2V SOHC 4.6L Modular V8. This of course, would've been great as is, but who doesn't like a little more horsepower. This car got the royal treatment first by receiving a 32 Valve DOHC 4.6L SVT Cobra V8. These engines are notorious for their reliability and willingness to accept modification. The 305 HP V8 is now helped with forced induction in the form of a Paxton SuperCharger. With this setup the car is making 356 Horsepower and 343 ft lbs of torque at the rear wheels (with Dyno sheets). In addition to a very potent engine, this car has had the aftermarket part catalogue thrown at it. The suspension has been upgraded including caster camber plates. It looks great sitting on a set of chrome Cobra R wheels wrapped in low profile rubber. While we're talking about the looks, this one sure is tough to miss! This convertible has a full Saleen body kit with front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, and rear wing. The car has been painted in a stunning coat of Lamborghini orange. Put the top down and you'll see the roll bar and then have your choice. You can fit the black vinyl convertible boot over the convertible top to have access to all four seats. If you don't need the rear seats, this car includes a full "speedster" rear seat cover. This body matched piece gives the appearance of a two seater roadster while you have the top down. The interior is black leather with custom painted orange panels throughout. The gauges are all custom and feature a boost gauge for the supercharger. Billet dress up accessories have been added to continue the custom look. Of course this is a proper 5 speed manual and this one has a T-Handle shift handle. With 4.10 rear gear ratio, this one really jumps off the line, and with the additional horsepower, it will keep up with the best of them.
