For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1937 2-dr sedan Plymouth Street Rod! Coated in Satin Black, this street rod is sure to turn heads on the street or at the show. Much custom work has been integrated into the build including but not limited to: vinyl bucket seats, relocated headlamps, custom running boards, Vintage air conditioning system, Painless wiring kit, fuel injection, narrowed rear frame, Air Ride Technologies suspension, power front disc brakes, and more! Here's the kicker, this Plymouth has a fuel injected 331 Hemi V8 engine from 1955! The Hemi engine was bored .030 over and has been completely rebuilt with all of the good stuff. Some of the engine details include: new pistons, reconditioned rods, full floating wrist pins, forged crankshaft, blue-printed and balanced, Racer Brown custom ground camshaft, solid flat tappet lifters, Smith Brother adjustable pushrods, reconditioned rocker shafts and rocker arms, 1955 Chrysler Hemi heads, new valve train, and ceramic coated headers. The blatantly unique engine is backed by an 46RH 4-spd automatic transmission. This transmission comes in handy while you're on those low enjoyable cruises. Other options include: AC, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, ride control, vinyl interior, radial tires, and aluminum/alloy wheels. This car has only 4000 miles since it was rebuilt which means it's had plenty of time to work out the bugs. The rear consists of a 8 3/4 with Richmond 4:33 gears. Given the fact this car has overdrive and 30" tall tires, cruising at 70 mph runs the engine around 2500 rpm! Now for the chassis, this build includes: original front frame section, 4" narrowed rear frame for larger tires, Fat Man Fabrications front cross member designed for Mustang II, tubular upper and lower control arms, power rack and pinion steering, and 11" GM brake rotors. If you're looking for a custom street rod designed for comfort and performance, this is it. Save money by purchasing an already built street rod.
