For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an awesome 1955 Ford F100 Pickup with plenty of giddy up in the engine bay. This 55' has borrowed a 429 powerplant and C6 transmission to help it breeze down the road on a sunny afternoon. Options include: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Cassette Radio, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, Cloth Interior, Chrome Wheels with Chrome Moon Hub Caps, Radial Tires, and Trailer Hitch. In 1953 Ford wanted a more integrated look and opted for a redesign of the F Series, also changing the names, the F-1 was now known as the F100. Amenities now available were a dome light, arm rest, sun visors, and a radio.

Open the hood of this F100 and you will find an Edlebrock carburetor sitting atop the strong 429 CID Ford engine, surrounded by aluminum and chrome on all sides, with headers as an added bonus. Steel braided lines mixed throughout the engine bay, a new fan and aluminum radiator shroud tie everything together. The freshly rebuilt 3 speed C6 transmission smoothly converts the power to the rear wheels. Looking down the side profile of the truck the giant fenders are the first thing to catch your eye, under those fenders are the 15 inch chrome wheels with chrome hubs caps sitting on BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. Connecting the fenders are painted to match side steps. Custom painted pin stripping can be found on all sides of this classic truck, along with lots of chrome pieces (side mirrors, door handles, and gas cap) add a nice bit of flair to the build. Originally painted Waterfall Blue, the present color closely resembles that light blue shade. Hop in the cab and the 60/40 split cloth bench seat welcomes you with a soft feel. The tiltable Grant GT steering reminds you that you are driving a sports machine, not your Grandpa's old farm truck. This is certainly a truck you can show and could double as a shop truck. This F100 would be a perfect shop truck, so running errands, picking up parts, or loading antiques in and out the bed will not worry you a bit.
