Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer a stunning 1970 Plymouth Duster. This car has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration and has been brought to better than new condition. Though it did not start its life that way, this one is set up as a 340 Duster. The first thing to grab your attention is the classic Mopar color: Sassy Grass Green. The paint has been beautifully laid and polished to a high gloss. Breaking up the green is the matte hood and 340 side striping. A large "340 Wedge" decal on the hood lets people know what sits under the hood. The smooth glossy finish on the exterior of the car is just the beginning. All of the painted surfaces have been polished from the inner fenders, to the door jambs, to even the underside of the car. It is clear that many hours were spent with the body on a rotisserie getting every surface as smooth as possible. The attention to detail underneath this car is what sets it apart. Every little bracket and fastener has been nicely finished. Underneath the matte black hood is a 1970 block 340 CID V8. The engine has been professionally built and only has about 200 miles since being assembled. The 340 features Keith Black aluminum pistons, rods, rings, and new main bearings, and rod bearings. It has been balanced, bored, and honed and the heads polished. The car fires at one hit of the ignition and has a very healthy rumble out of factory manifolds and dual exhaust. Backing the 340 is a 4 speed manual transmission which shifts smoothly. Power is delivered through an 8 3/4 rear end with 3:23 final drive ratio. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior with a very cool white vinyl upholstery that screams 1970. Just about everything is new including seats, carpet, headliner, seatbelts, visors, and even new glass. The little things are what make this car so great, like how smoothly the windows roll up and down and how nicely the doors close. The car sits on a nice set of 14" rally wheels wrapped in new BFG tires. It has new brakes all around, new exhaust, clutch, radiator, wiring harness, door rubber, the list goes on and on. This really is a must see to appreciate type of car. It is ready to be shown proudly or simply to be driven on nice days.
